ES Connect 2022
The Conference
Our gathering for evangelists this past Saturday went gloriously! Over a decade ago, Evangelist Support Network was founded. Its intended purpose was to serve as a fraternal for evangelists, providing training and encouragement as well as promoting fellowship and collaboration. Today, it continues to serve this same purpose and to develop as the Lord directs.
We kicked off the day with a dynamic and stirring message on faith by Anton van Niekerk of the Cornerstone Global Network. We then proceeded to hear from a variety of ministries regarding how they can assist the evangelist. We started with Gary Almeida, the Training Manager at African Enterprise South Africa and Ed Ramsami, the Global South Associate Director of Global Network of Evangelists, a ministry of the Louis Palau Association. We heard from Tiaan du Plessis and Itumeleng Mokganya of Christ for all Nations South Africa as well as Siegfried Tomazsewski, Director of the Global Evangelist Alliance. We then moved into a Panel Discussion—which included some of our presenters as well as Themba Malaba, the Evangelism Director of Every Nation Southern Africa—and answered questions posed by the delegates. I concluded the day with a brief yet red-hot message on who we are as evangelists—blood-washed and Spirit-filled, spearheading the soul-winning charge given by the Lord of Hosts!—before we laid hands on all in attendance.
In short, it was a day that was power packed from beginning to end, as any gathering of evangelists should rightly be. Heartfelt thanks to Pastors Peter and Tammy de Fin of Acts Christian Church for warmly allowing us to use their stunning venue and to their team for their capable and enthusiastic assistance. Thank you too to JOY! Magazine and Kenneth Copeland Ministries Africa for gifting the evangelists with free material. Lastly, thank you to every evangelist who attended. We are in your corner and together, Africa is being saved!
